What I offer
I offer specialised tuition for entry to top UK schools from start to finish. I begin working with children in Y4 and help parents decide on a realistic long list of applications, based on the initial assessment. I then prepare children in English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal reasoning for the ISEB Common Pre-Test (or equivalent such as the Girls' Consortium) to be taken in Autumn of Year 6.
I then help to prepare for interviews and Round 2 school-specific exams such as the Eton List Test or Harrow Test in Spring of Year 6. Finally, I work with students in Years 7 and 8 to prepare for Round 3 Common Entrance or Scholarship exams in Maths, English, Sciences, Latin, Greek, Geography, History, TPR and the General papers.
Services
Initial Assessment
All students begin with an initial assessment at £450. This is a 2 hour long lesson to get to know the student and assess their strengths and weaknesses. It includes a written report, bespoke programme of study and follow-up 30-minute conversation with the parents.
1-1 Individual Lessons
I charge £180 an hour for 1-1 lessons although I do not currently have any availability to take on new students. If you would like 1-1 lessons, I work closely with a small team of expert tutors at the Admissions Academy and will match you with the best tutor for your child.
Group Courses
Each term I offer group courses suitable for students in Year 4, Year 5 or Year 6 preparing for the ISEB Common Pre-Test. They are taught online in groups of 5 students, last for 10 weeks and cost £700 per student for the whole course. See here for details of the next course.
